Nessy
Four and a half year old pitbull. Nessy is a female utd on shots and microchipped, she has no known medical issues.
Nessy comes to Minnesota from Qatar through Barkinq and Barkinq across the globe.
Nessy as most dogs that come from Qatar have had a sad abusive past. However Nessy remains a happy girl who wags her tail at praise and people.
Nessy will excel in a home w out small children cats or small dogs at this time until proper training. Nessy is new to playing and can get very excited. Nessy has been through a lot and is just learning how to be a dog, and to play.
Just like us humans Nessy has developed anxiety in some situations and it’s important to get Nessy in a calm submissive state before asking her to task or meet strange dogs.
Nessy lived with a foster in Qatar before making her trip to America with a resident dog. Nessy does resource guard food with another dog present so please feed Nessy alone.
Nessy needs training and can get over stimulated quickly causing an abundance of excitement.
Nessy needs to work on manners at the dinner table but is easily corrected. She is an easy listener to correction and you can get her from an abundance of excitement to a calm and submissive state with touch commands and a simple no.
Nessy is a work in progress as we all are and she has her quirks but she offers an abundance of love and cuddles.
Nessy would be an amazing companion to anyone with pitbull experience. One that can help Nessy become her best self and to live her best life.
