My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cricket is a super sweet and quiet 2-year-old little man, weighing in at about 3 pounds!

He is a bit shy as he has not had the best experience with humans, so he needs someone that can give him the time he needs to trust his new family. He gets along splendidly with his small-sized foster siblings and sleeps through the night in bed with all of them.

His potty habits have been wonderful, and he goes down the 2 steps into the fenced yard, but he has not attempted an entire flight, so he gets carried between the 2 floors of the house at this point.

He loves very gentle playtime and snuggling next to you on the couch – a perfect little apartment dog!

Because of his size and for his safety, we would not put Cricket into a home with small children.
Cricket is being fostered in Wisconsin.

**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a home visit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.

Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.

Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.

Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
