Say hello to Rocky Man! This handsome boy’s parents could no longer keep him and when ATDR was contacted, we jumped at the chance to bring him into our fold. Rocky is now in a comfortable foster home where he will be well loved and cared for until ATDR can find the perfect forever home for him.
Rocky loves his humans and does well with other pups, especially having had canine siblings in his former home, but he likes to chase kitty cats! He just wants to play; however, that has never gone very well! He absolutely loves apple slices, blueberries and strawberries. In his former home, he had his regular meals in the morning and a treat in the evening. Once or twice a week he would get an egg for his evening treat! Rocky doesn't like to be cold. He wants to snuggle under the covers, or sleep on his person’s feet. He can 'sit pretty' for his treats, although ATDR doesn’t recommend encouraging this since it’s not very good for a pup’s back. He barks at his own shadow and, overall, is the sweetest little guy. He loves baths and is very well behaved for the groomers. He walks very well on a leash and he likes to play fetch. He LOVES stuffed animals and has a squeaker addiction! All around, Rocky is pretty amazing!
Rocky deserves the best home out there with loving people he can call his own again. In his former home, Rocky occasionally played with visiting grandchildren between the ages of 6 and 10, so would be okay with gentle children no younger.
