Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howler was shot in the face at one month of age. He lost his eyes and his jaw has grown very deformed. He has had several surgeries to correct the damage from the trauma. In spite of this, he is a happy, playful dorky puppy. He has been in excellent hands and has been raised as normally as possible and well-socialized to many people and places. He loves people and thinks that everybody he meets is his friend. He is great with other dogs. His housetraining is coming along and he is crate trained. He rides fine in a car. His future Vet care needs will include, at a minimum, annual dental care; xrays, cleaning and removal of any teeth that may need to come out. The lower teeth probably will have to come out eventually, but for now they are fine. He needs a secure fenced yard and an owner who can take the extra precautions needed to keep him safe. The adoption fee for Howler is being waived due to the understanding that there will be more than usual future Vet care expenses. To inquire about him, please call us at 406-231-4722.
