Meet Sammy! This pint sized Chihuahua thinks he is in charge of everything! He prances around the house and wants to be part of all the excitement. Sometimes he sees himself in a mirror and will run over to bark and growl at the reflection for intruding in his space. Sammy sometimes barks at strangers but once he is comfortable, he loves to cuddle and give kisses. He loves sleeping in bed right on our pillows. He also loves playing with other dogs! He even keeps up with the larger dogs. Sammy thinks he can kick their butts while they wrestle and they sometimes even go along and let him win, knowing they can just stand up and walk away at any moment. They really don't take him seriously but don't tell Sammy that because he thinks he is big and tough! Really, Sammy is just a cute, little guy and a softie at heart! Sammy is 4 years old, 4lbs, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He does well with other dogs and cats but shouldn't go to a home with small children. He is very playful and needs a buddy in his next home. He spends most of the day wrestling with his dog friends and when they are tired he tries to play with the cats who aren't a fan but he doesn't understand. Sammy is not fully housebroken but is learning. He doesn't have accidents if he stays on schedule and goes outside often. He also doesn’t do well in a crate. If you try to place him in one, he gets angry and barks. He'll forgive you if you take him on a walk or car ride. He loves those!
