Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tripp is a 60lb, 1.5 year old Heeler/Husky mix that is sadly being returned to the rescue. We are still learning if he may being having vision problems but in the evening (low light conditions) he tends to become very agitated. Because of the children in the home, it was decided that he should be rehomed. We are also wondering if the coyotes or neighbors dogs be causing the agitation.
He would do best in a quiet home with out children, cats or male dogs. He would do best with a female dog or perhaps an older dog. We will require a fenced in yard, no apartments. He loves to go on car rides, go for walks and play outdoors! He also loves rope toys, squeeky and stuffy toys.
We included a picture of his mom with all her babies- she is a Heeler mix. KARE is also interested in doing a "foster to adopt" program. Please contact us for more information.
