Meet our playful, doofy boy named Kingston! Kingston is about 2 years old, and he was surrendered to our shelter when his owner was moving and they could not take him with them. He is a cool dog who loves to play with squeaky toys and chase tennis balls around in the yard. Kingston is a big boy who could use some work on his leash manners, but he does know how to sit, give paw, and lie down. He takes treats well and loves to be pet all over his body. Kingston seems fine with other dogs, but cannot go to a home with cats. He can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. Kingston is already neutered and up to date on rabies vaccinations! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
