Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow 3 is a handsome tuxedo kitty that was an outdoor stray being fed with three other kitties. The caretaker was moving and could not relocate them, so he asked the refuge to take them in. Shadow 3 is a little shy, but he is learning to to trust the volunteers and kitties he has met at the Refuge. Come visit the Refuge and meet Shadow 3 and his friends and see if he or one of his friends is the right kitty for you!

1) Complete our online adoption application: Visit www.goathouserefuge.org/adoption-application/ to get started!
2) Come for a Visit: We are open 11am - 3 PM Saturday and Sunday. Fridays are by appointment.
3) Complete a home visit: Once you confirm that you've visited in person with the cat(s) of interest and completed the online application, your responses will be reviewed by the refuge staff so that a volunteer member of our home visit team can contact you to schedule a visit. Only after a representative of the refuge has visited the applicant's home will the refuge consider continuing with the adoption process.

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats.The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
