My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moose is a handsome, blue merle male Australian Shepherd. He is about 4 - 6 years of age and 45 pounds. He has one blue eye and one brown eye.

Moose was found running loose in the city with a partner in crime. His partner got adopted but he sat waiting. ASF stepped in to foster him and he is learning the ropes! Moose is highly motivated by food, so he learns quickly.

Moose LOVES his people. He bonds quickly and he will even give hugs. He is a super snuggler and wants to be close to his people almost all the time.

Moose would be just fine being the only dog! He isn’t a big interactive player, but he does find enjoyment with toys. He is a bit selective on who he shares his people with, so he definitely would have to meet any other dogs in the home.

Moose is learning how to appropriately walk on a leash. He hasn’t completely mastered this yet and has some reactivity on the leash which his foster home continues to work on. A lot of things are new to Moose, so he must have a patient adopter that can work on all these new concepts with him.

Moose is up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and taking monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. Monthly preventatives are required for adoption.
