Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 2 May 2021----- est DOB: 20 Oct 2018----- Breed: boxer/catahoula mix ----- Size: 65 lbs ----- Status: Owner Surrender ----- Compatible with: children, some larger dogs ----- Suitable for: home with fenced yard ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: alpha. Not cat or small dog compatible ----- Additional Notes: Stevi is a big brindle girl. She is quite dominant and although has spent time with a professional trainer before coming to rescue, she was still too much for her owners to handle. Stevi is NOT good with small dogs and is very alpha at intros with larger dogs. She will need a single dog home or a firm and consistent owner who sets boundaries and helps her develop. She does correct and with proper intros and stability, would likely do well in a home with another large dog. Stevi is not cat compatible. Due to generous sponsorship from her surrendering owners, her adoption fee is only $25. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 however due to generous sponsorship, it has been reduced to $25. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is required.
