Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 26 March 2021 ----- DOB: May 2020 ----- Breed: Maltese/Chihuahua Mix ----- Size: 6 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs, cats, children. ----- Suitable for: home with fenced yard. Possible apartment with adequate exercise. IS A BARKER at noises, strangers, etc. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Blind or vision impaired. Possible detached retinas. Requires regular grooming. ----- Additional Notes: Kua is an adorable long haired girl! Kua is very shy with new places and people but once she gets comfortable, she is loving and sweet. She came to rescue with her sister Tuda. She is a fear biter with her condition. We are hoping for some more tests and maybe it can be corrected! She seems fairly typical for a smaller dog. She can be VERY noisy when outside without us, so possibly some separation anxiety but she does settle down in her crate at night. Kua is just a sweet little dog to have around! She does require regular grooming/brushing or her coat matts easily. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is required.
