Nikita is a Siberian Husky. She is Red and White. Nikita is 7 Months Old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 40 lbs.
Nikita is a fun loving energetic girl! She was surrendered to a high kill pound by her owner who must give her up due to a back injury. As soon as you meet this stunning girl she starts wagging her tail and staring at you with those piercing blue eyes of hers! Not only is she gorgeous she has a fun, active personality which makes her a perfect best friend for kids who want to run around and play outside. Her favorite thing to do is run around in the yard and feel free to cold air on her face. She enjoys going for long hikes through out the woods. When she's inside she loves to explore the house looking for more toys to chew on. She loves loofa dogs and rope toys, but pretty much any toy can capture her interest especially if there is a treat involved! Nikita would probably love to have her new family teach her basic commands, and she has the potential to do agility training as well. Nikita will make someone a wonderful new doggie pal and she's waiting for that perfect family to come along to adopt her before the holidays!
Nikita would do well in any household. She gets along with everyone including adults, kids and other dogs but would do best in a home without cats. She would do best with a home with a fenced in yard but as long as her new family would be willing to take her for at least one long walk a day she'll still be a happy go lucky girl! She would love to have a family with active kids who like to play outdoors and just have fun. Nikita does well on the leash but since she does want to go faster than just a walk, a harness is a good idea. She is currently crate trained and we're working on housetraining, and with a fence housetraining will be very easy for Nikita. She is full of energy and is only 7 months old, so she has that puppy playful attitude that makes her perfect for a young active family. Any family who has a love of Husky's will fall in love with Nikita for her gorgeous good looks and her energetic happy attitude!
Nikita is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
