Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Clyde. He is a Plott Hound/Lab mix. He is neutered, crate trained, current on his puppy vaccinations and ready for his new home.
Clyde is friendly and excited to become your new family companion. He loves playing in the yard and wrestling with his brother and sister. He is just a big goof ball. This breed is an active breed that needs regular exercise and a secure yard to play in. He will make a wonderful family dog and a great walking or hiking companion.
This breed does not do well stuck in a crate for 10 hours a day while you work a full-time job. Potential adopters must have a puppy plan for socialization and training. We expect his adult weight to be between 60-70 pounds.
Clyde is doing well with his crate potty training. But, he is only 5 months old so potential adopters must be prepared to go through potty training for the next several months. If you haven't done this in a while, please make sure you are willing to put in the time and commitment involved. He does well with access to a yard.
A secure 5-6 foot fence is mandatory for this breed. It cannot be a split rail fence that provides a ladder for the dog to climb. No spike tops that could injure the dog if they try to climb over.
Clyde's adoption fee is a $200 tax deductible contribution to our Spay/Neuter fund. We do not make a profit off of our adopted puppies. This fee covers puppy vaccinations and rabies shot, spay/neuter and a microchip.
If you would like to add Clyde to your family, please contact us for an Application of Interest.
You must submit an application of interest and complete a home safety check in order to meet any of our available canines.
