Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Churro is a five-year-old, 19-pound Chihuahua mix. He was turned in at the county shelter as a stray and now he is at Home Fur Good hoping to find his forever home. We all can’t control ourselves around a chubby Chihuahua; we just want to squeeze them. Churro is going to make you work a little for that squishie reward. Churro is unsure of the leash and is slowly learning that the leash leads to fun walks. He does allow himself to be picked up; just go slowly and let him know your intentions. Hold on tight to this chunker because sometimes to likes to take a flying leap. Churro gets along with other little calm dogs, and he is curious and enjoys checking out his surroundings. With each day, HFG is seeing Churro become more and more comfortable. He will approach and hang out with you; he is cat-like, remaining just out of reach but wanting to be with you all the same. The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment only.
