Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello everyone! My name is Bruce! I am 10 years old and I'm a happy little guy. I've been in rescue for a while and I'm all ready for my furever home. I heard my foster mom say I was a chihuahua, so I used her phone to Google 'rat terrier' and then I posed next to the images. I think she got the hint. I am a handsome little one, weighing in at 11 lbs. I am dainty and bouncy on a leash and I do love a nice stroll. I love treats and pupcups too. I have 2 foster brothers that I get along with just fine. I need a home with only a mom. I am mostly housebroken, except for the occasional accident. When I am a little bit cold, and you are not sharing your blanket, I will tap you on the arm with my paw until you do. I will also perch on the back of the sofa and gaze out the window with my little tail wagging, when I see you. I came into rescue fairly healthy, but my eyes did need some attention. I saw a doggy doctor and he said my eye pressures are ok, I have an old injury that's stable. It doesn't hamper my ability to see.... I can walk around just fine. If you are interested in meeting me, and possibly being my furever family, please contact my favorite rescue at saveourcockerspaniels.org to fill out an application.
SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, Heartworm testing and be able to provide proof of purchase of HW prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. Only approved applicants will be contacted.
