My story

Hi! I'm Gracie, a 3 year old female who is super affectionate, and I haven't yet met anyone I don't like. I love attention, and I love to give kisses. The folks at MSSR say I have the most soulful eyes, but hey, I'm just glad to be in a safe place!. I'm a little shy when I first meet new people, and I'm a little nervous in wide open spaces, but once I know I'm safe, you have a friend for life!



I was saved from a high kill shelter literally at the last minute. Whew, that was CLOSE! I love kids, and I like other dogs ok too, although I'm a bit intimidated by larger ones. I dont' really know how I fel about cats, but I think I would probably enjoy chasing them!



I'm utd on routine vaccinations. Unfortunately, I'm heartworm positive. I hear this is pretty serious, but I've also been told I'll be starting treatment in a few days and that I'll be fine and feel much better afterwards. I can't wait! Once that's done, I'll get spayed and will then be ready for a new home. Could it possibly be with you?



Gracie must go to an indoor home where she will be an important part of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21. Our adoption fee is $250.

Note: We do not have a shelter location. Our dogs are kept in foster homes as part of a family, to help prepare them for transition into their forever homes.
