UPDATE 5/29/21: GATO, a very sweet HOMELESS GUY approximately 2 years old, is definitely worth reading about. Would you please consider being his hero and opening your heart and home to him? He will be sure to reward you with loving head butts and sweet cuddles!
HIS STORY: Gato was being fed outdoors with other feral cats. The caregiver soon realized he was friendly and when he showed up one morning with injuries, she asked for help from our local Cat Action Team rescue group. The vet said the bites were from a larger animal, but everything has healed up well now.
Gato is now in foster care and he loves it there. He was neutered, vaccinated, tested negative on a combo and the vet described him as "young, healthy and adoptable." This is all great news and we are helping him find his “forever home” now.
Gato is very easy going, basically a quiet, mellow cat, who is immediately friendly with everyone he meets including other cats. He is even doing well with our large, very active dog.
This guy would do well in just about any situation, but because he is so willing to be friends with anyone or anything, for his safety, he needs an indoor-only home.
If you have questions or interest in adopting Gato, please contact his foster mom Dian Howe at 540-836-8135 (call or text) and email: dian1021@hotmail.com .
GOOD WITH CATS. GOOD WITH DOGS.
