Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Ashes. I'm a domestic shorthair, 9 years old, 9 lbs, & I have a grey & white coloring.

I was left here overnight a little while back in a crate, & they found me here in the morning. I had a bit of a hard time adjusting at first, but I've gotten used to the swing of things pretty well around here. Luckily, an old guy like me doesn't need to be too active, or run around a lot, so I'm pretty content with just hanging out in my kennel in bed most of the day. I mean, It's not all that bad! I get fed every day, a bed, I get my nails trimmed, I get brushed, sounds like a dang spa to me! The younger cats around here are always complaining, but they should seen it back in my day! They don't remember what it was like in the 10's, but I remember. Ah, the 10's, what a decade! I mean, remember 2012? I was just a kitten back then! I went through the end of the world for cryin' out loud! Anyway, I digress. Like I said, I'm a pretty lazy guy now that I'm getting a bit older. While I don't mind life here too much, it would still be nice to get into a real home, I'll admit. & while I haven't had too much interaction with other animals, I bet I could get along with them reasonably enough as long as they're not too rowdy. I wouldn't be too high maintenance! Just make sure I've got some food, give me some space to chill, make sure my litterbox is clean, the basics. If you can do that, I'll be a happy guy.

I'll still need to be neutered before I can leave. If you're looking for a guy who's a little older & just needs a nice, new place to call home, I'm what you need!
