My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetheart June was in an apartment with other cats and when her person was hospitalized long term, the cats were left unattended in the apartment. A neighbor was finally able to gain access and June was found dirty and injured, but still sweet!

After we got her cleaned up and vetted, we started to see her real personality come out and she is truly a wonderful girl. She is both independent and loving, likes to be nearby but is not clingy, and is typically in relaxation mode but gets the occasional case of the zoomies! June is happy to play on her own and loves to carry her toy mouse around the house, tossing it for herself to chase and then bring it to her human—the ultimate “I love you!” in cat-speak.

If she isn’t sleeping in the bed with you, she can be found sleeping in her own bed right next to yours. June is extra snuggly in the morning and loves to start the day by burrowing under the covers with you and soliciting pets and headbutts.

She takes a little time warming up to new people, but once she does, she’s such a sweet girl who just wants a quiet home where she can be someone’s perfect companion. Although June is good with little humans, she would prefer to be the only cat in her home.
