Make way for Makwa! That's me! I'm a lab mix, 6 years old, 31 lbs, & I have an all black coloring.
I'm a shy girl when you first meet me, but I get comfortable with just about anyone over time! Well, almost anyone. I'm not really a fan of babies & toddlers & stuff like that. That's the reason I'm here! My owner had me for a couple years, but they had a new baby & I started getting pretty aggressive. I would guard my owners from the baby, pee on its things, & growl & show my teeth at it. After months & months of trying I still refused to coexist with the new addition, so everyone figured it would be safest to find me a new home. Other than the little kids issue, I promise I'm a great girl! I play well with other animals, & I'm social with adults once I get a little more comfortable! I love to spend time outside, swim, all that fun stuff! Anything that we can do together is fine by me, though. I get pretty anxious if I'm alone for a super long time, so I like to be around my people as much as possible! I'm also a bit of a picky eater. I've got a sensitive tummy, so I tend to throw up if I don't get certain kinds of food. Overall I may have my issues, just like any dog, but I promise if you give me a chance you won't regret it! I'm one of the sweetest & most loving girls you'll ever meet!
