Our family took in Bella when she was a year old to avoid her going to a shelter during a relocation. She is highly energetic, she loves kids but plays hard which has been a struggle with our little ones. She learns quickly but bores easily and isn't afraid to tell you about it. Malamutes are working dogs, and she enjoyed pulling the kids around the yard last winter and helped me move compost this spring.
We have successfully completed our first obedience course and have attended socialization clinics, but she has had minimal interactions with other dogs, we believe she was weaned young and may need some work if she were to live in a home with another dog, though she definitely shows interest!.
About two months ago she started medications for separation anxiety and she has shown a lot of improvement when we leave the house. She still gets excited but it is getting better.
She loves car rides, water, winter, and being outdoors. She will make a great addition to the right family.
