Listings are done at the request of the dog's owner and as an outreach and community service in hopes of finding these dogs a loving, stable forever home. This is the information that we received from Tucker's current family:

We fostered Tucker because he was on the euthanasia list in a Houston shelter because he had heart worm. We were moving to Austin, so we adopted him to make sure he received treatment. We completed treatment, and now he is a healthy and happy boy, very sweet and plays with our other dogs. We already have two dogs, and looking to start a family, so we would love to find Tucker a great home now that he is healthy.

He has only been around kids once and did okay with them. He has seen a cat on a walk, and wanted to chase it, so I'm not sure if he is comfortable with cats.
