Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Up for Adoption Texas and the Northern East Coast: Meet Zoey!
Zoey is an adorable, charismatic 6-month-old girl who weighs about 35lbs, and has quite the zest for life!
Zoey loves to play with dogs and humans alike, go for runs/walks, ball fetch sessions and of course, car rides. Once sufficiently exercised, Zoey loves nothing more than a good cuddle session; as a matter of fact, affection is her “love language.” Zoey currently lives with other pups and continues to learn how to respect the social cues from the other older pups of the pack. Zoey would love doggy daycare and would play with other dogs that share her enthusiasm.
Zoey is incredibly intelligent and has an insatiable desire for learning and approval. In her foster home, Zoey has learned some great basic manners such as how to walk politely on a leash, sit, heel, come (recall), default sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay, respect thresholds, off (not jumping up) and no (any undesirable behavior such as stealing food off the coffee table). Zoey is VERY treat- motivated and wants nothing more than to please her humans and, being a puppy, will require and excel in further training with her family.
Zoey would do well in a home with other dogs, small or large, and, since she’s an energetic girl, kiddos over 5. As Zoey loves to be outside, being with her humans for outside activities or exercise is high on her list of favorite things.
Zoey is continuing to cement her house training, is crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. If you think you’re a match for Zoey, head on over to www.luckylabrescue.com to fill out an application.
