My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Snickers is ready for her new family!  She is a Texas transplant, a Shih Tzu mix we believe although her paperwork says she is a Lhasa Apso.  It also says she is 5 years old but we don't believe that either!  She is super playful and energetic - she is more like 2 or 3 years in our opinion!

Like we said, Snickers is very playful!  She loves to play outside with other dogs, wrestling and running.  We would like to place her with another playful dog.  She is a big fan of being outside - she gets the zoomies and runs all over the yard!  She has a game of catch me if you can with her foster mom when it is time to come inside.  Because of this and her love for being outdoors, we are requiring a fenced yard for Snickers (invisible fences will not be considered). She loves toys and chewies!  Snickers is good with other dogs but can play a little rough sometimes.  She is quick to snuggle up with them for a nap too.  Cats are not an issue although she will sometimes give a chase but it is harmless.   Kids would be fine too.  Snickers is not a fan of stairs - she can do about 5 or 6 to get in and out but does not want to do more then that.  Snickers walks well on a leash and is crate trained.  She appears to be housetrained too and will use potty pads also if needed.  Snickers has been professionally groomed and will need regular grooming so please take that into consideration.

Snickers is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450
