My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Evie is an 7 month old, ~10lbs long haired Dachshund mix. Even though she is still a puppy, she is very calm and gentle. She is good with people of all ages, including children.

Jet leg took a few days but she has adjusted well and is now on a regular feeding (3/4 cup, AM and PM each) and bathroom schedule (7am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm and 12am). She does #2, 1-2 times a day and has no problem going in the backyard. She will have accidents if not allowed to relieve frequently enough as she’s still a baby.

It seems Evie has never been alone and always had her littermates with her so she adores doggy friends! She has very good manners. A home with another dog would be a great benefit for Evie and likely help with her separation anxiety. Otherwise a family that is always present would be best. Evie likes to be with her family in the same room.

She is still very shy as she is not used to being with humans. As a result, petting and getting a leash/harness on her will require lots of patience, practice and time.

Once Evie settles in with her forever family, she will be the most incredible pup and will love and follow her people to the ends of the earth!

She came to Toronto on May 15th and her brother Vero is coming on May 31st. The adoption fee is $950 includes tax, inspection, porter tip and fee. The adopting parent has to come to the airport for pick up.
