My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at those ears!!  Rocky is a 3 year old chi/beagle mix.  Recently, Rocky went to a home for a foster to adopt situation and unfortunately the adopter could not keep him (it wasn't the fault of Rocky or his adopter that he couldn't stay).  The foster gave Chi Town Rescue some great feedback while Rocky was in the home and he couldn't have been more perfect.  Rocky was timid at first but he was quick to warm up to his foster.  If you sit on the floor, he will come sit in your lap and give you kisses.  He was great on the leash and never pulled.  Rocky went to Petsmart and he was a perfect gentleman around the other dogs at the store.  He was shy when meeting new people that wanted to pet him and hid behind his foster's legs.

At the foster home, Rocky never marked once inside the house. He didn't destroy anything either.  He loved the foster's bed and slept next to her all night.  Rocky doesn't like to be kenneled and needs to roam freely.  Rocky doesn't like to be alone for too long but while the foster was gone for a short period, he never barked or howled.  He waited quietly for her to come home.

Rocky's best home would be with an adult single person, an adult couple and no children under the age of 15.   He would make a perfect companion to anyone if given the chance.  Rocky is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccines.  If you would like to meet Rocky and see if he would be a good fit, please call Chi Town Rescue at 602-526-0842 or email chitownrescue@gmail.com to schedule a meet & greet.  He would love to show you how he can be a great dog in your home!
