Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Twix arrived as a stray at the county shelter back in May. Home Fur Good couldn’t resist the unique little guy and took him in. Initially, it was thought that Twix was shy and timid, because he seemed most happy curled in a lap. He is a 13-pound Chihuahua mix. With his spotted skin and limited fur, Twix possibly has some Mexican Hairless or Chinese Crested in his pedigree. It was assumed a two-year-old doggie would be busy bouncing off the walls. With two unsuccessful adoptions and many interactions with Twix, he has shown that he is just very affectionate and very attached to humans. Some may call him needy; others will call him a love bug. His perfect forever home will be one with the time and desire to spend lots of time cuddling and hanging out. He is a stick-to-me-tight, and won’t want to be left alone for long periods of time. Twix has done great with other dogs, even sharing his kennel. Twix has learned the leash, but his preference is being picked up and carried like the prince he is. Twix won’t be shy about asking for attention, and then once he has your attention he will continue talking. He mumbles his contentment, letting you know how grateful he is for hours and hours of snuggle time. The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment only.
