My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Barry was surrendered to rescue by his family who no longer wanted the responsibility of having a pet. He is a very sweet puppy who LOVES kids. He likes to play rough with other dogs and that is too much for smaller dogs. He would do okay with another large dog that likes to play as hard as he does. He has lots of energy and loves to play with kids. He is fascinated with butterflies and will chase them around the back yard. He LOVES playing ball. He enjoys getting belly rubs and likes to give kisses. His favorite treat is beef jerky. He is a St. Bernard/Akita mix puppy who is 6 months old. He already weighs 50 pounds. He's going to be a big boy - no apartments for Barry. He is almost completely housetrained and his foster is working on crate training him. He walks nicely on a leash and greatly enjoys going for walks. He has not been exposed to cats.

Barry's adoption fee is $350. Barry has been fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, so he is ready for his new family. Barry is currently in a private foster home. As such, we can only set up meet-and-greets with pre-approved adopters. You must fill out our adoption application and become an approved adopter prior to asking us to set up a meet-and-greet.
