Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shortbread is a five-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix. He has wiry hairs around his face; there could be some terrier in there. Shortbread had been turned in at the county shelter as a stray. Shortbread was shy at first, but has completely blossomed during his time at Home Fur Good. He is an outgoing, playful and super adorable little guy! Shortbread LOVES his tennis balls and will chase them, then flop down and chew on them. He prefers the full sized tennis ball, because Shortbread is a big dog in his heart. Shortbread is friendly with his human pals and will readily run over to you for pets, or roll over for a belly rub. Shortbread does enjoy the company of other little dogs as well, so bring your dog at home in for an intro.

The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment only.
