My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Quick Facts:
Age: 3-4 years old
Weight: ~50#
Crate/House Trained: Yes & Yes!

REQUIREMENTS:
-6ft fence: Huskies are known escape artists + Sakari can be a little nervous. This is strictly for their safety and your peace of mind.
-Another dog in the home: Don't have one? Sakari and Johnny did not come into rescue together, but immediately formed a strong bond & truly love each other. We would love to see them adopted together.
-No Apartments/Joint Housing Complexes: Huskies talk.. A LOT. Being the vocal breed she is, we're here to ensure Sakari can sing + talk to her heart's content. Your wall neighbors may not agree.

If you're looking for a goofy Husky, Sakari is your girl! She is such a silly and awkward dog, she is sure to keep you laughing. She can be shy at first, but with the power of treats, pets, and dudes with beards, she turns to mush. Sakari is a huge fan of dog beds: napping on dog beds, relaxing on dog beds, playing on dog beds, using dog beds as safety nets from "the floor is lava" games with her friends... all things dog beds. She can be a picky eater and would love a forever family who is willing to spoil her with homemade meals or yummy toppers on her food. She is crate trained & loves having her dog bed (*gasp*) in her crate so much that she promises not to shred it.

Sakari is her best self with her four-legged friends - so much so, we are requiring her forever home to have a dog (or several) already. She thrives in dog bar environments and expects you to treat her like the royalty she is. If you fell in love with her and don't have another dog, no worries! Her best friend, Johnny - also a Husky, is available for adoption as well.
