My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taz
Requires:
Fenced Yard
Resident dog
AD $600

Taz lives up to his name...he's a ball of puppy energy always on the go! Taz is an approximately 7 mo old (born 10/27/20) smooth black and tan dachshund puppy. He is a busy, exuberant little guy that loves to run and play.
Taz is a loving pup with a sweet disposition. He loves to cuddle and doesn't like being left alone. He even comes when he's called! (But he is a dachshund and has selective hearing, so he often ignores other requests.)
Taz loves to chew things. He is just a puppy. Keep an eye on him and keep him busy, or your slippers may suffer.
He does well with other dogs and requires a resident dog to keep him company and to play with so he can burn off some of his extra energy. Taz does fine with well behaved children and will do well in an active home that can keep him busy so he doesn't create his own "fun."
Taz is working on potty training, but is not there yet. He does OK in his crate during the day, but will potty in it, so both issues are a work in progress. He will need more training (and plenty of patience) in these areas. You'll find that you can't be upset at this sweet little guy. When he snuggles into your lap and flashes those beautiful baby browns up at you, he just melts your heart.

Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment. Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
