I am a Cane Corso and I am a little more than 1 years old.
I was surrendered to a small shelter in Georgia during the pandemic, but luckily I didn’t have to stay there long before The Bullpen came to the rescue!
I can be shy at first, but deep down I love most people . I think I would do well in a home with kids over 10, as long as they weren’t too loud or rambunctious and had some previous experience/training with big dogs.
I would like to find a home with a large, laid-back male that I could play and hang out with.
I haven’t had much experience with small dogs since I came to The Bullpen, but I’m pretty sure I could live in a home with dogs over 40lbs.
I’m not really sure how I feel about felines, so I’m not sure that a cat-friendly home is a good fit for me.
The words that best describe me are loving, playful, eager-to-please, and sweet.
I like to get petted, play with toys, and sunbathe in the grass.
I am housebroken, good on a leash, and crate-trained. I also know basic obedience and how to use a dog door.
I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you are interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a perfect placement so we know that they will not be failed again.
