Morrie is a super cute and playful little guy. He loves to hang out with his people and must be the only king of the castle. He has a history of not doing well living with other dogs. While in our care, we tried training, meds, etc. Unfortunately, this little guy has unpredictable aggression towards other dogs so he must be the only one in his new home. He does ok meeting other dogs outside and even playing in the yard when properly introduced, but he cannot live with them. He also is terrified of children and has a bite history with children in his former home so he needs a new home where children or grandchildren do not live or visit. While he loves his people, he can be reactive if someone tries to grab him or his face unexpectedly. So until you learn his quirks, his new owner should respect his space to help him adjust to his new home. While in our care he did live with a cat successfully and showed zero interest in it.

Morrie is very well behaved in the house, nondestructive and housebroken. He enjoys going for walks and hanging out in the yard. He sits on his hind legs for treats. He likes to play catch with a ball. He enjoys toys but was possessive when living with another dog so they needed to be put away. Once living on his own he likely can have access to his toys. He is a great snuggle buddy when watching tv. Currently, he has been sleeping in the living room in his foster home but he would probably enjoy sleeping in the same room with his new owner or even on the bed.

He is in good health, his bloodwork is good, he had a dental, he is neutered, UTD, HW negative, and housebroken. He is the perfect little lap buddy for someone who will respect his need to feel safe!
