My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spider has arrived in Massachusetts! He's an affectionate, adorable hound mix from Virginia; 2-3 years old and 36 lbs. He is timid and scared of loud noises, but has gotten very comfortable in his foster home. He is sweet and loving and likes the adults and teenagers in the home. He will do best in a home without young children as he is still timid. He especially likes his foster mom and follows her around. He even likes to lay on the bath mat when she takes a shower! He really just wants to be someone's companion and would prefer his person be around a lot.

Spider seems to be housebroken. He needs practice on a leash and although he LOVES to be outside, he gets nervous when he sees and hears new things. When he is scared he tries to run so a harness is recommended when walking. He would really love a fenced in yard to explore. As with all hounds, he would benefit from some basic training. He can get a little jumpy when excited or afraid. He gets along well with the other hound at his foster home, but has no desire to play with her. Spider is being fostered in Plymouth, MA and is available for visits.
