Want to meet Honeybee?
24570 Dulles Landing Dr, Unit 140
Meet HoneyBee, the prettiest pup from Gretel's litter (yes her foster family swears it ). HoneyBee is about 10-11 weeks old and about 11-12 lbs. We do not know what her breed mix is, but are guessing some mix of lab/husky/beagle. She is a big world of love and sunshine delivered in a tiny puppy-sized package. One look into her mesmerizing eyes and the spell is cast. You are done… forever in love with this super affectionate and sugary pup. But don’t let her little perfect face and sweet head-tilt fool you. She is confident, self-assured, and can hold her own against her big brothers. A day in HoneyBee’s company would be filled with joy, laughter, and adventures. She would very much benefit from another doggie sibling but could easily hold the crown on her own. She is an active pup who would be a great sidekick to summer hikes, backyard grill parties, or junk-binging movie nights.
Since HoneyBee is a young puppy, she requires an adopter who is home a good portion of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! (This includes after COVID.) HoneyBee is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed at 6 months of age. The spay is the responsibility of the adopter.
** Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Townhomes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old.**
***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from Lovepaws***
***We do not place puppies in homes with children under the age of 5 years***
The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered as well as a $100 spay/neuter deposit at the time of adoption. This fee $100 fee will be returned to the adopter once proof of the spay/neuter has been provided to Lovepaws.
***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***
Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
