Gray is a super friendly mini house hippo who has been bouncing around the shelter system since 2020. Her last stay with us was in 2021, so when we saw her back three long years later, we were surprised and sad. This lovely girl deserves to have a true FOREVER home!!
In one former home, Gray did great with kids as young as two, was housebroken, and was described as very sweet. She’s also a big goofball who would climb into the laundry basket for nap!
Staff and volunteers are very fond of this girl- she’s a true people person (er… people dog?) who loves everyone she meets. She’s been described as an affectionate, playful companion who loves her daily walks. She’s a fun little piglet who is energetic and bouncy and always up for anything. She`s fun to walk and would make a great partner for an active person, though at the age of six, she also appreciates a nice long afternoon siesta.
Gray would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit or would even enjoy being your one and only so she can hog all of your attention. No chickens or other livestock please! Ask about Gray today!!

Meet the Pet
Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

Take the Pet Home
Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.

Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!
Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
