Description: Brown Tabby Maine Coon Mix
Gender: Male
Rome is the most handsome hunk of fluff you’ll ever meet. He is a long-haired Main Coon mix, eleven years young and full of life. A kitten at heart, you’d never think Rome was a senior with how much he loves to play with a variety of toys. Got catnip kickers, bug shaped toys, crinkle balls? Rome will snatch them up in his mouth and toss them around the room, an act his foster mom finds truly adorable. After a good play session, Rome will find himself a comfy spot near you and enjoy a cozy catnap. Rome would prefer a quiet home, preferably with no other pets so he can be the king of the castle. This handsome fella develops a strong bond with his humans and will follow them everywhere they go, always wanting to spend time with them. When not partaking in his afternoon siesta, he likes to follow you around or beg for attention by lying on the floor with all fours up in the air! You’ll easily win him over with head and shoulder scratches, hearing his mighty purr you’ll know when he’s a happy kitty cat!
Originally adopted from us as a kitten, unfortunately Rome, along with his sister Milan, was returned after 10 years when their owners passed away.
Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with Home Again microchips with rescue paid registration.
