Tuck is super cute, very sweet, and he’ll be a great dog for his person. A devilishly handsome Collie mix, Tuck weighs in at about 45 pounds and he’s 2-and-a-half years young. An ideal size and an ideal age!
Tuck is mushy and snuggly while indoors, and likes to cuddle, be pet, and play with his toys. His favorite game is tug-of-war and he often amuses himself by shaking his blankets. Yeah, shaking his blankets!!! Tuck can be a bit of an odd ball! :-)
Tuck enjoys going for walks and has good leash manners, but he can become nervous while outside. He’s been working on that, and little by little, he is realizing it’s ok to relax while he’s out and about. Hey, the world can be a scary place, especially for an unsure, tentative dog. But Tuck sure does love car rides! Go figure! A home with a yard in the burbs is a life that Tuck desires!
Fully housebroken and crate trained, Tuck is a pleasure in terms of his bathroom habits. He is comfortable in his crate - - it’s kinda like his man cave. If he had a TV inside of it, he’d probably sit in there with a bowl of popcorn and watch sports!
Tuck is highly intelligent and responds well to direction. He knows a whole host of commands including sit, stay, come, lie down, touch, look, paw, and other paw. He is very affectionate and eager to please, but he does have his quirks, so consistent instruction and positive reinforcement is key to bringing out the very best in Tuck. And the very best is what Tuck wants you to see!
