My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She may be just over one year old, but Cleo is the biggest baby you'll ever meet. She was pulled off the streets of Chicago after a feral cat colony caretaker noticed that she was far too friendly to survive on her own. Cleo LOVES people and she very much enjoys the life of luxury that comes along with being close with people. She has a very sophisticated palate and will only eat certain brands of wet food, making her one of the few cats that would *never* try to steal your salmon dinner. She's a sucker for belly rubs and tuna, but at the end of the day, all she really wants is your attention.

She can be shy at first, but as soon as you offer her a warm lap or a cozy blanket to snuggle under, she's your best friend for life. She is very conversational and will eagerly listen to your problems, as long as you're willing to listen to hers. She is passionate about singing, and around mealtime she will belt out riffs that would put Ariana Grande to shame. She absolutely loves snuggling up to people at bedtime— even if you toss & turn at night, she will always find a place to tuck herself in as close to you as possible.

Cleo falls in love with people very easily, but it's a different story with cats. She would likely get along with an older, more mellow cat, or any cat that's willing to accept that she's the Queen, but she'd also thrive as an only cat & sole receiver of attention.
Anyone who meets Cleo is shocked to learn she's been in foster care as long as she has, because she is such a sweet, sociable baby. She so desperately wants to be a loving, doting house cat, -- she just needs to be given the chance.
