My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You are not going to find a better new bestie than Shirley! She is that perfect age (4 yrs) where she loves to do fun stuff outside and be active but is well mannered and has impeccable social skills. She weighs about 45 pounds, rides well in the car, is leash trained, and she is potty trained with a doggie door. She gets along quite well with the dogs in her foster home and would be able to go to the dog park, on doggie play dates, or to doggie daycare with no problems. She is happy to play with any dog that is up for a fun time. Shirley is smart and affectionate and will happily greet you after your day at work and listen to the office gossip. You can complain all you want to her about your coworkers, boss, clients, etc....and guess what? She won’t tell a soul and will know you are SO right. If you are looking for the best new best friend ever....Shirley might just be your girl.

This pup is in CT and waiting to find their forever home!! If you are interested in adopting this pup, please email your adoption coordinator to set up a meet. You can also apply online on our website, but you must be pre-approved before setting up an appointment to adopt.

The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12pm-2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
