My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mocha is a sweet, cuddly, affectionate and full of beans girl. She loves, loves, loves people, and the belly rubs they give her. She seems to walk around with a constant smile on her face, and is simply thankful to be alive.

And thankful she should be.

Back in October, 2019, Mocha together with her 5 tiny siblings were found in dirt, cuddled up together, barely hanging onto life. Their momma was nowhere to be found, our suspicion is that she was either hit by a car, poisoned, or killed by someone. Tragically, things like that happen on daily basis.

The babies were all alone, starving and boiling hot. Maybe that's why someone was hosing them down daily with icy cold water. Despite their possibly good intentions, that was slowly killing them.

Only three puppies survived, and Mocha is one of them.

She could be flying in to Toronto on May 29th, if we find an adoptive home in time.

If you are interested, please email us and we will send you our adoption application.

We would love to hear from you.

NOTE:
The dog is currently in Egypt. She has had all her necessary vaccinations (Rabies, DHHPi) is spayed/neutered, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks, tested for tick borne diseases ie. Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis and oral canine papilloma, as well as tested for intestinal parasites.

In addition to all the expenses associated with the abovementioned standard medical procedures, the Egyptian rescue has paid in excess of $1000 in US currency for the flight to Canada.

Taking into consideration the fact the dog is a rescued animal who needed medical attention in order to survive the trauma inflicted on her, the Egyptian rescue has spent in excess of $2500 US Dollars.
