Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***URGENT***
YOU: Jonesing to get a dog but secretly dreading the whole "daily walks" aspect of it all.
HER: The ultimate homebody.
Makita is a housetrained, people-loving, gentle gal who is happiest and most comfortable hanging around the house. She is often anxious out in the world and her reactivity due to fear of other dogs can be a challenge to manage. But if you prefer a round of fetch in your fenced yard preferable to putting on pants and stepping into public, Makita may just be the dog for you! Bonus points for keeping up the counter-conditioning training begun at BACS.
Contact Home at Last Rescue for more information or email kswanson@cityofberkeley.info to talk about foster and/or adoption.
