Rosie (a.k.a “Rosebud”) was surrendered to a local shelter, they had to remove a mass from her leg, do surgery on her eyes and then needed to find her a rescue to recover in and she came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue. She is on eyedrops for life, but is a good sport about it, and lets you do it quickly and without fuss. She’s a total lovebug who is looking for someone with a comfy couch and lots of love to give!

Rosie spends most of her days and nights napping on the couch, but does like to wander the backyard (provided you’re there with her), and go for short and slow walks down the street in the evenings. She has the cutest sassy bark when she knows it’s dinner time and is anxiously awaiting you to feed her, and has a happy dance when she’s extra excited.

Unfortunately, Rosie needs a home without other animals, as she has a tendency to chase down ani-mals smaller than her. Though her vision isn’t what it once was, once she spots something moving around she has a one track mind! That said, she’s otherwise a very easy-going girl, and has proven herself good with kids both young and old, once introduced.

Rosie would also do best in a single-story home, without many stairs, as she’s an older gal who has trouble getting up and down steep inclines. She is a pro with her ramp that goes with her everywhere she goes (mainly the couch and the car), and loves a good car ride!

Rosie would love her forever home to be with someone who is around more than they’re not (though she does just fine left alone for moderate lengths of time), and while she’s not the dog to take running in the foothills, she’ll be happily waiting for snuggles on the couch when you get home.
