Like a gentle snowfall, "Snow" is a beautiful girl and is reported to be "a perfect/even tempered dog" by her foster mom. She would be a good choice for a family wanting a smaller dog as Snow is on the petite side of the Great Pyrenees spectrum; weighing 40-45 lbs. Snow was found hiding in bushes on a desolate country road in North Texas and was most probably dumped. Dogs can be so resilient and in spite of her life before we took her in, Snow is incredible sweet, well mannered and we are so happy we were able to rescue her find her best life with an amazing adoptive family.
Snow is a an all around wonderful dog! She gets a long well with other dogs, is not bothered by cats and loves all people and children; we believe that she is on the younger side and is just under 2 years old. Snow is a bit on the shy/skittish side and gets a little nervous around loud voices and sounds, she is also terrified of car rides but these are things her foster is working with her on. What Snow needs is some love and confidence that she is okay, safe, and will never be alone and scared again. A basic training class is the perfect opportunity to build confidence, a strong bond with her new family and will also show Snow how to walk on a leash. Snow is not crate trained but her foster says that she is such a good girl, she has the run of the house.
If you are looking for a dog with all of the amazing qualities listed above and providing a great forever home is something you can offer this very sweet, well tempered girl. please complete an application for "Snow."
