My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they have been adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org

Buttons is an old fashioned dog's name for a very fashionable little fellow such as myself!!

I am a Brussels Griffon/Chihuahua mix...I know what you are thinking, that is a darling combination!! And I am just as sweet as I am cute!! I have soft hair, and love my people.

My favorite activity is sitting on Foster Mum's lap while she works on her laptop...or watches TV, or just about anytime, I guess!! I just Love to be with my hooman!!

I get along great with all of the other dogs my size. I am a petite dude at only 7lbs, and the bigger dogs scare me. I pretty much ignore cats and go about my business.

At only 7 pounds of cuteness, I would fare best in a home without small children. While the little tykes mean no harm, it is hard for them to distinguish between me and a stuffed animal. Pulling ears or tails hurts...OUCH!!!

By nature, I am loving and gentle, kind to others and cuddley. Did I mention that I am a champion snuggler? My second favorite activity is giving kisses on the chin.

I came from a hoarding case in NM where there were lots of other dogs. One of my paws has been amputated, so I have a really strange gait, but get along really well. I go on a 1/2mile walk with foster mom everyday. When I was younger, I sustained an injury that has left me incontinent. I have to wear a diaper when I am in the house, but I am really good about wearing them, and dont try and get them off.

I am between 10 -14 months young so we have lots of years ahead of us together!! Please fill out an online application and adopt me today!!
