My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Barron to CCPAL Rescue. He is a gorgeous Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix is our best guess. He was found on the streets of Texas. He is a little shy and feels very comfortable in his kennel. We are working on leash skills. He warmed up quickly to Colin and wanted to sit on his feet during the photo shoot. He is a sponge ready to learn and will be fine with all other dogs. He will need another social dog or a kind and gentle owner to show him the ropes. A soft handling will be what he needs. He should be 40 to 50 pounds full grown. He would be best in a home with a fenced yard. He is smart, attentive and a blank slate. He will be fun for someone to bring around. We will get him on a good schedule and give him attention in the rescue. He would be fine with children and we like them to be 8 or older. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
