Hi, I’m Reba! I’m an eight-pound, fourteen-year-old female chihuahua-Schnauzer mix, fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative, and I’m looking to spend my golden years with a loving human who can give me the attention I need and deserve!
I spent my previous years in a loving home, but when my doggy brother died, I became depressed and lonely. My vet prescribed medications, but they just made me feel sluggish. What I really needed was a human who could spend more time with me and some other dogs I could play with. Now that I’m in my foster home, I am off my medications and doing great, but now I need a forever home to give me the same love and companionship long term!
Even though I’m in my senior years, I still am alert, happy, and just a little spunky! I love going for walks and am affectionate and active with my foster humans and doggy foster siblings. In fact, my vet says I act more like I’m 8 than 14! I love attention, but I’m not demanding. There’s nothing I like more than sitting with my human in her chair and enjoying time together.
