My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bingo
~2yr old male husky mix

Bingo comes to us off of the euthanasia list from Maricopa County - he is very excitable and energetic and will need a home able to provide continued training on his manners and a lot of exercise. He is with an awesome foster now working on getting him regular exercise and has seen leaps and bounds in improvements since his shelter days.

We don't see Bingo as aggressive with humans (he has no desire to hurt us!) but do see him as mouthy and lacking boundaries - if he gets worked up he can grab lightly with his teeth to communicate. He doesn't bite down and shows no intention to hurt or break skin, but needs continued work on realizing what is and is not too much - since we got him again this has improved SO much! Bingo does NOT have a bite record of breaking skin, it has all been lack of initial training and being taught what is right. He will require a home with no kids and preferably with experience with a similar breed.

He gets excited to see new dogs and is eager to interact, but slow intros are recommended since he hasn't been around a ton of dogs since being in the shelter and in his foster home. On his bath day with us he was round 8 other huskies and had no issues himself (though one of the males wasn't too fond of him, Bingo did nothing to instigate) - overall we think he would do just fine with another playmate or two provided an initial intro goes well.

He has not been around cats so this is not recommended just from knowing the breed in general!

Please let us know if you want to meet Bingo! He would so love to finally have his own family.
