Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Biggie Smalls, a tiny 3 lbs, 10+ year old senior Yorkie being fostered in Fort Worth, TX. Due to COVID, only Texas applicants will be considered.
Look at this little 3lb 7-8yr old "Biggie"! Biggie Smalls found himself at a nearby shelter where he was very frightened. He was swooped up and taken into another foster home where he waited out his hold. This little guy was extremely fractious and you could tell he had not had much human interaction in his life or the interaction he had had was not the best. During his hold, Biggie slowly allowed the touch of a human hand which has now led to loving his face and head rubs, to loving being held in just 10 days! Emotionally speaking, I truly think this small munchkin will be an absolute angel by the time he is ready for his furever. He looks for his humans and wants nothing more than to be close and loved.
Medically, he has all of his immunizations, a neuter and a beginning to his dental. Due to his small size and how quickly he loses body temp (noted during his first dental), he will need another dental to hopefully complete his medical needs. He will be scheduled this next week. Biggie does have dry eye in his right eye which will require a daily drop. This may resolve as it could be an environmental issue due to his horrible condition on intake, but its an easy fix with the drops if not.
Biggie Smalls' best forever home, would be a home without small children due to his very small size. It would be a bonus if his adopter would have knowledge of the breed and also be able to be home with this tiny nugget to give him what he was failed at in his prior life. If you feel you have that home to offer this little man, please complete the application below. As always, know that these babies always need donations for their medical care. If possible, we would love any donation you may wish to offer for these babies' care at www.uyr.us ❤
