Up for adoption in TX & NE: Binx.
Winner of the (unofficial) 2021 Worlds Best Cuddler Competition! 13-year-old Binx is the reigning champion and would love to show you how he earned the title! He is able to find a comfy spot anywhere he goes, but his favorite place to be is right next to you! Binx is 65lbs and takes the term "couch potato to a whole new level. When he is not cozying up on the couch, you can find him sunbathing outside on a beautiful day. I am telling you folks, from snoozin' to snugglin', this guy can do it all!
Binx is peppy and ready to live out his golden years in a forever home.
Toys and playing fetch are not really his thing, but he loves to unwind outside, and smell all of the smells. He enjoys rolling on his back and seeing how much grass he can get on him, silly boy! Binx is working on his leash skills so he can go explore with you too. He may be older, but this old man sure can keep up on walks!
Binx is working on mastering his commands like sit and stay but is very respectful to everyone he meets. He does not jump on people or bark at strangers, as he would rather get lovings instead. Those big brown eyes can melt anyone's heart! Binx enjoys car rides but could use some help getting in and out of the vehicle. He loves to stick his head out of the window and take in all of the smells.
Binx is crate trained and hangs out in his crate when his fosters are not home. While he would love to snuggle in bed if that is your thing, he does understand personal space and happily sleeps in his crate or on a dog bed at night. Binx is also fully housetrained and will let you know he needs to go out by standing at the door. Binx loves to be right by your side, no matter the activity! If you forget he is by you, he will kindly remind you by pawing at you or nudging you with his nose to let you know he is still there. Although he is lacking a bit in the teeth department, he is still all smiles! He enjoys softened kibble and treats like shredded carrots, peanut butter, mashed bananas, apple sauce, and pumpkin puree. Binx is one healthy dude!
Binx gets along with dogs both big and small. Like most dogs, he has his preferences, so if you have other pups we recommend having a meet and greet to see how great they get along.
Binx is a chill pup with high spirits! He would love to find a forever home where head scratches and warm snuggles are a plenty!
